Daniel and Sherrie are folk art potters located in middle,Georgia. They have
been making functional and folk art pottery for some time now and are fast becoming very popular
with Folk Art collector's everywhere. Daniel’s family is from the Washington county area of Georgia which
is rich in Georgia Pottery history. He says he feels the natural connection when he works with clay while doing their part
to keep the folk pottery tradition alive in the south. Daniel and Sherrie have combined their sculpting abilities and
their creations in folk art stoneware pottery, which has presented a new opportunity for their artistic
talents. Daniel and Sherrie have developed a recognizable style of portraying individual characters on their face
jugs (each one of a kind) and folk art human and animal figures. Each item is created individually using traditional Southern
techniques of working with clay, glazes and firing .Sherrie assists her husband in the pottery
making and also creates her own variety of free-spirited face jug personalities and folk art clay creatures .
